Our duck mom is still patiently nesting and her eggs have not yet hatched. Please remind your child to stay clear of the nesting area and respect the space around the mother duck so she can continue to safely care for her eggs.
We would also like to wish a very Happy Mother’s Day to all of our mothers, grandmothers, and special caregivers in our community. We hope you have a wonderful weekend celebrating with your families.
A reminder that Friday, May 15th is a PD Day, so there will be no school for students.
We are also excited to share that we will be hosting a Family Inline Skate Night on May 21st. More information, including how to sign up, will be sent out soon.
Finally, we would like to extend a huge thank you to our amazing Parent Council for the thoughtful gifts and treats provided each day during Teacher Appreciation Week. Your generosity and support are truly appreciated by all of our staff.
School field trip fees
We are asking for your support in ensuring that all outstanding school field trip fees are paid as soon as possible. At this time, our school has over $3,000 in unpaid field trip fees. When fees remain unpaid at this level, the school must absorb the cost, which can impact our ability to offer the same number and quality of field trips in the future. If this trend continues, we may need to reduce field trip opportunities next year.
