Dear NBS Families, 

Next Friday is our Volunteer Tea to celebrate all of the wonderful volunteers who support our school community throughout the year. As part of the event, we will also have a performance from our Mary Poppins musical cast, which is planned to take place outside and will be weather-dependent. If it is raining on Monday, the performance will be rescheduled to the next evening without rain. A School Messenger update will be sent out Monday at lunch to let families know if the performance needs to be rescheduled.

Please see below for the link to our Sports Day volunteer sign-up. We are looking for many volunteers to help make this a fun and successful day for our students. If you are signing up to volunteer, please ensure that you have completed your Police Security Clearance for volunteers. If you are unsure whether your clearance is complete, please contact the front office and we would be happy to confirm for you.

A reminder that all library books are due back to the library by Friday, June 5.

 Mary Poppins Musical - Update

Greeting Parents,

This morning, 250 of our Grade 2 - 5 students did their last practice of Mary Poppins before show day starting on Monday.  Our first show will be taking place Monday, June 1st in the morning for the rest of the school to watch.  Please ensure your child is wearing the proper colour top and black bottoms to school that day that corresponds with their child's costume. Students will be performing 4 times next week and will need their coloured shirt for all 4 shows.  Monday morning, Monday evening (weather depending), Wednesday morning and Friday morning.  Please email Ms. Lysak if you have any questions or concerns.
